‘Into the blank’ is an ongoing project that uses empty holiday areas in wintertime to investigate the role of changing contexts.
With the vacationers gone and cold reality seeping in, the meaning of these places shifts. Instead of the sweet holiday fantasy appears a mirror, a metaphor for alienation, isolation, human fragility. This is where I like to linger.
